WOMEN'S HEALTH
Ultrasound/Scans
We have installed the latest state of the art ultrasound machine; the equipment has the ability to produce detailed colour images and video which will aid accurate diagnoses.
Maternity Services
Our research showed that there were over 2000 births at Ashaiman Polyclinic alone in 2019; we understand that the vast numbers of births were a strain on polyclinic services and this actually contributed to our decision to include Maternity, prenatal and antenatal care services.
Our Maternity unit is equipped with an incubator, durable labor/delivery beds and delivery sets.
Laboratory Services
This medical facility is equipped with a fully functioning laboratory which has:

Hormonal Analyzer
We have also created an isolated microbiology laboratory solely for the processing of microbiology to tackle infectious diseases effectively and efficiently and reduce contamination.
Pharmacy
There is a fully functioning Medicinal and drugs dispensary service on site.
The pharmacy is not reserved for the sole use of FMMC clients/patients but it is also licensed to provide retail pharmacy services to anyone in the community who is need of pharmaceutical services.
Wards:
The wards in this facility are equipped to hold patients/clients for a few hours for monitoring prior to discharge or onward transfer to hospital if appropriate; all the wards are fitted with Televisions. This facility also has 2 consultation rooms.
Paperless Service:
All our services are paperless to maximise efficiency and ultimately, minimise delays for our patients who are central to all that we do.
Emergency Department:
We have created an Emergency Department to triage patients who attend the clinic without an appointment but have urgent medical need they believe we might be able to assist with.
We will make an urgent assessment to and progress with treatment where possible or refer the patient to hospital where necessary.
We are in the process of acquiring an Ambulance to enhance our emergency service provision, we expect to have the vehicle in place and operational by February 2021.
